Windy: Wind Map & Weather Forecast
Windy is a Czech company providing interactive weather forecasting services worldwide. The portal was founded by Ivo Lukačovič in November 2014. Currently, weather forecasts are based on data from the GFS models, ECMWF, and NEMS model from the Swiss company Meteoblue.
Fcst24
Fcst24 is a website which contains fast graphical interface and 3D algorithms for weather data, allowing quick specific queries to large data. The website shows most of the data with all simulations and all variables. The website is adaptable to most screens and has various features, tools and options like scaling, 4x view, point tool, path tool, bookmarks, LD, Kml.
You can login with a Facebook or Google account. There is also a subscription model for monthly or yearly Paypal payments which opens detailed views and features as these require high computational loads to server each individual clients.
Australian Atmospheric Soundings
The Bureau of Meteorology launches weather balloon flights from locations all over Australia several times per day. This data is made available on the F160 chart, which is retrievable via NAIPS and from BoM’s web site.
