We’ve had three flying days since the lockdown was eased. Winter flying isn’t like summer flying, but it has its moments.

The club now has a beautiful Duo Discus in its fleet. This glider was refurbished by Morgy’s Glider Works, and its finish might be better now than when it left the factory.

After yesterday’s great flying hopes were high — at 6:30am sunshine and blue sky at 8:30 am the sky is covered with high cirrus and it is cold. A task has been set 3 hours for both club and 18m. Cooler day with an early finish time expected; so need to be home by 5.
